What This Case Looks Like

All four corners are already in their correct positions. The cube is solved!

Recognition Guide

How to recognize this case:

  • All corners are oriented (same color on top)
  • All corners are in their correct positions
  • The cube is completely solved!
  • No algorithm needed - you're done!

For Kids 👶

Congratulations! This is the best case - your cube is already solved! After you've made all the corners show the same color on top (OLL step), if all the corners are also in the right spots, you're all done!

No moves needed - just celebrate! 🎉

For Adults ⚡

This PLL case occurs when all corners are already in their correct positions after OLL. This is the optimal PLL case as it requires zero moves.

Algorithm: None required. The cube is solved.

This case happens approximately 1/3 of the time when solving the 2×2 cube, making it a common and welcome occurrence during solves.

Algorithm

No algorithm needed

This case requires no moves. All corners are already in their correct positions.

Common Mistakes

  • Not recognizing the case: Make sure all corners are both oriented AND in the correct positions.
  • Confusing with OLL: Remember, PLL checks position, not just orientation.
  • Doing unnecessary moves: If everything is correct, don't do any moves!

Practice This Case

Test your recognition skills. Can you identify when the cube is already solved?
